Last week, I shared some of my favorite boy bedrooms. Today, I am going to share my favorite girl bedrooms incorporating the color pink.
Why pink?
My daughter is a big fan of pink and so, I am taking inspiration from pink rooms at the moment.
Here are the seven bedrooms I have curated to inspire me as I create my daughter’s big girl room. I hope you get some pink bedroom ideas to spark your next makeover.
Enjoy!
To have a pretty pink room, no one said you need pink on the walls. Jillian Harris designed her girls’ room with a blue sky as the backdrop.
Pink is a prominent color because it covers two large areas, the bed and curtains. The combination of pastel blues and pinks is just heavenly. This room will be easy to change over time with some simple textile swaps.
This glamorous room is all about that luxe look. The bed is super cozy and plush.
Pink is the star of the show and covers a giant rug, the headboard, settee, the drapes and accessories.
I really love the flower chandelier used. Even though it is impractical to not have a fan where we live, the light is an absolute stunner and truly elevates the space.
Don’t you love how sweet this room looks? Pink may not be on the walls or curtains, but it is used in the bedding.
Regardless of how you feel about pillows, I simply adore how this bed came together. There is a variety of color, pattern and detail in the selection.
I will definitely be looking to put that same thought into my little girl’s room.
Here we have two photos to admire from this room designed by Jennifer Maune.
Jennifer kept everything relatively simple and stuck with a more monochromatic look. White is the dominant choice for the main items and the walls, but pink is used to add that touch of femininity.
The use of blush pink with a hint of gold, makes this room feel special.
Pink lamps flanking a large piece of art is a nice way to create instant symmetry.
My favorite thing about this space is the picture molding and the way it makes this room feel elegant.
Now we have a swan inspired bedroom fit for a ballerina. Here we have the repeat lamps again, but this time in white.
Any little girl would love to have a canopy with lights over her bed.
Personally, my favorite part of this room is the use of flower knobs on the IKEA dresser.
Instant upgrade!
Certainly a more grown up bedroom, but no less pretty than the others shown.
Pink is used in less prominent ways until we hit the ceiling. Rather than a pale pink or rosy pink, Shea McGee went with what I can only describe as, a rich blush mixed with sand. The color is Setting Plaster by Farrow & Ball.
I really love the way pink and blue pair together. It is usually easy to find rugs and pieces that incorporate both colors. Something done effortlessly in this gorgeous vintage rug.
Replicating this color palette in your own home is rather easy.
When I first spotted this room, I was immediately captivated.
First of all, let me start by saying, this room feels so grand and spacious thanks to the vaulted ceilings and the off-white wall drenched in natural light.
Secondly, this room is true to the French Country style and the perfect space for a little girl or a teenager.
The bedding is gorgeous and a ruffle duvet cover has been in a few of the rooms showcased today. Adding interest to a space like a bedroom can be done in simple ways.
Remember, mixing patterns or using a special detail like ruffles makes for a big impact.
The bed is the design detail I am looking forward to the most!

From the time I was a young child, I have loved interior design and beautiful things. Ten-year-old me would create “floor plans” on notebook paper and design the dream homes of my siblings. We would have an initial meeting and after jotting down their wish list, I got to work creating the home of their dreams.
After designing the layout, I would take the Sunday newspaper ads (are those still a thing?) and cut out pictures of furniture, lamps, and accessories to create mood boards for each room in the home. When I was all done, weeks and weeks later, I would showcase my work and pitch my design ideas to a sibling.
If you too enjoy beautiful things and the process of turning a vision into a reality, welcome! If you love watching homes transform, but just don’t know how to start or have the resources to buy everything you like, stick around. I love finding affordable and practical design solutions to give YOU a gorgeous home you can be proud of.
